In the Eye of the Storm is the fifth episode of A Different World's fifth season which was first broadcast on October 17, 1991.
Summary[]
Freddie is on the air at the campus radio station when she gets a news flash that a hurricane is headed straight for Hillman! She broadcasts the news and Col. Taylor tells everyone to meet at The Pit where buses will take them to a safer place to wait out the storm. Dwayne and Whitley's first anniversary celebration is ruined and Jaleesa panics, fearing she might die in the storm. Meanwhile, back at the radio station, Freddie and Ron are too busy arguing to notice the evacuation notice until it's too late. When the lights go out, their anger turns to fear and soon they're comforting each other, with the radio microphone still on!
